Description:
Tobacco pipe made of clay with oval bowl, heel and straight stem with smooth cut of stem end. Bowl stem side embossed on a ground line with hanging lambrequin in the centre an orange tree in a tub, depicted on the right Prince William IV, dressed in a long coat, a command staff in his right hand, his daughter Princess Carolina is standing in front of him, her right arm lifted as a greeting. Bowl right side a sitting Princess Anna of Hanover, the stadholder's coat of arms without a legend on the floor, her son, bareheaded on her lap, a lion with staff and freedom hat is behind the flowerpot. Along the top a text ribbon with "HET VORSTELYKE HUYS VAN ORANIE" (the royal House of Orange), lambrequin is zoomed with a ribbon with "VIVAT ORANIE" (long live Orange). Heel left side mark Gouda coat of arms, heel heel right mould mark two points. Stem intaglio with cog-wheel imprints bordering "I.V. LEEUWEN" and "IN GOUDA". |

| Uitkomst Friederich formule 43.23.17=16.813 1761 C4FF Vgl. APM 197, APM 243 en APM 10.398 uit dezelfde beerput. Naar formaat lijkt dit een zogenaamde halfmaats pijp, doch de steel is daarvoor te kort. |
