Description :

Tobacco pipe made of silver with an oval bowl, heel and long straight stem with button mouthpiece. Bowl and stem undecorated. Mounted with a silver pipe cap with a zigzag contoured rim around the bowl opening, dome-shaped silver valve cover with locking chain to the stem ending in a locking ring.

Commentaire
Merkwaardig en heel bijzonder dat een zilversmid in de pijpenstad een dergelijk voorwerp dat verstoken is van gebruikscomfort maakte. Wie zal deze pijp toentertijd als statusartikel hebben willen bezitten?
