Description:

Opium damper made of stoneware with round disc shape damper with cuff band. Bowl top a medallion in cream with painting in black of a landscape in which a man with a buffalo wades through the river, bamboo bush on the right, above the mountains a group of Chinese characters. Bowl bottom four groups with stamped marks of Chinese characters. Mounting with silver bowl holder and stem with three groups of stamped silver marks of Chinese characters.
