Description:

Porcelain tobacco pipe with oval bowl on moisture lock with two-sided flattened bottom without heel and ascending stem with stub. Bowl front hand-painted in polychrome coat of arms with standing lion and crowns with a show helmet with lion with halberd as a helmet sign, flight in blue, red and silver, underneath spell with "VOLENTI.NIL.DIFFICILE", below crowned Gothic letter J with lion with halberd in Crown. Bowl reverse side in black "K.J. JENNINGS SEINEM WYALL GIBBS BONN 1846". Bowl internally and stem internally blue underglaze stripe. Stub end face intaglio size number "2".
