Comments
| Van deze tekening bestaat een gravure door Adriaen van Ostade daterend tussen 1653 en 1658 (collectie Museum Boymans van Beuningen, inventarisnummer BdH 18004 prentencollectie). Het oorspronkelijke schilderij van Adriaen van Ostade is spiegelbeeldig en draagt als titels "Het zoute scholletje", "Het schollenmannetje" of "Het gesprek". Tegenwoordig in Londen, The National Gallery onder de titel "A peasant courting an elderly woman". Bekend van een ets van Cornelis Visscher (1629-1658), ook gegraveerd in mezzotint door Jacob Gole (1660-1739) en Pieter Schenk (1670-1713). |
