Colophon

The website, including the database has been designed by Datatrippers-Amsterdam in consultation with the Amsterdam Pipe Museum, who owns the copyright.

The production of this website has been made possible partly by the financial support of the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. In addition, thanks to a generous contribution from the VSB Fund, Utrecht.

The unpaid dedication of the curator of the Amsterdam Pipe Museum for more than fifty years has ensured that the enormous amount of basic material of objects, books, documentation and archive data was available for digitization. Entering hundreds of thousands of data into the computer has been a priceless activity that forms the basis of this website.
